Student Life

Campus Activities

The M.B.A. program has a very active M.B.A. Student Association. The purpose of the association is to provide graduate business students with opportunities to develop leadership skills and to prepare for professional positions in the private and public sectors.

This organization provides an excellent means for M.B.A. students to interact with other students, faculty, and community leaders. Students are also given the opportunity to discuss and initiate positive changes within the M.B.A. program. Special meetings are scheduled with leaders from the civic and business community of greater New Orleans.

Just as important, the M.B.A. Association ensures that while we all work hard in the program, we also have a lot of fun. The M.B.A. Association is responsible for planning or assisting in the planning of the many social events that M.B.A. students enjoy. These include community service and networking events. Membership is open to all M.B.A. students.

Class Profile

The M.B.A. program at Loyola University New Orleans is very diverse. Many of our M.B.A. candidates have undergraduate business degrees, but an average of 50% of our students have non-business degrees in fields as diverse as engineering, journalism, education, and others.
