Masters Program in Austrian Economics

To whom it may concern:

The Economics department housed in the Joseph A. Butt, S.J., College of Business at Loyola University New Orleans is considering the launch of a new masters program in economics.

At the moment, this program is awaiting the necessary approvals stipulated by our University by-laws. Currently our department consists of professors William Barnett, Walter Block, Daniel D'Amico and John Levendis. We invite you to view their faculty websites, publications and teaching interests.

Given the research fields of our faculty, the proposed masters program will contain coursework that emphasizes topics such as Austrian Economics, Business Cycles, and Political Economy.
