Todd is also an accomplished teacher in the classroom. While a doctoral candidate at Florida State his teaching efforts earned him both a College of Business teaching award and a University-wide teaching award. His creation of an innovative classroom project using social media influence metrics caused him and his teaching methods to be featured in stories by The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed, U.S. News and World Report, and many other online sources. This media coverage led to his TED Talk presentation about social media influence at a regional TEDx event. As an incoming faculty member, Todd seeks to motivate Loyola’s marketing students with topics and situations that are relevant in today’s electronic marketing landscape.
